At Avicom, we are proud to partner with Sow the Seed, a registered NPO dedicated to uplifting the community of Sir Lowry’s Pass Village, where unemployment affects more than half of its 12 000 residents.

Driving impact through community programmes
Sow the Seed delivers a range of initiatives to address their communities complex socio-economic challenges:
- The Learning Centre helps children re-enter mainstream education, with 39 learners successfully reintegrated and 25 currently receiving support.
- Home-Based care offers a carers training course with guaranteed employment post graduation, while also providing care for elderly residents.
- Animal care provides essential services with over 200 sterilisations and countless treatments performed each year to improve the well-being of animals in the community.
- Waitron training equips unemployed young adults with hospitality skills and practical experience, preparing them for careers in the service industry.
